When booking online, how can customers see how busy the appointment / course is?

You can do this in every appointment type that can be booked online under OFFICE -> Settings -> Appointment type in the online booking area "Number of free places".
If you select "Show" there, the available appointments will be displayed as green little man symbols and occupied places with black little man symbols.
