Don't worry, this only affects a fraction of your customers! For most customers, the email looks normal.
Explanation: In the case of very specific versions of the Apple iPhone with some versions of iOS, Apple changed something in the so-called coding and never got 100% corrected afterwards. Every now and then, even nowadays, they still change that. Only on these few iPhones are the umlauts displayed as strange special characters.
Unfortunately, we at OptiOffice cannot influence this on the programming side.
